Pairing an Oregon 700 Series to the Garmin Connect App

The Oregon 700 series can be paired with several compatible mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets.


Pairing the device enables Bluetooth-connected features such as activity uploads, Connect IQ downloads, LiveTrack, software updates, smart notifications, and weather. You can find steps for this process below.



Pairing an Oregon 700 Series to the Garmin Connect App

Before attempting to pair:


Check your mobile device compatibility here

Download the Garmin Connect App

Place your mobile device within 10ft (3m) of the Oregon 

Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device (Refer to the device manual for details)

On the Oregon press the Power key or swipe up on the main menu to access the app drawer

Select Setup

Select Bluetooth and the Oregon will be ready to pair

On your mobile device, open the Garmin Connect app

Access the menu:

Android: Select Menu or three lines  (upper left corner)

Apple: Select More (bottom right 3 x dots)


Select Garmin Devices

Select Add Device

Select Browse all compatible devices

Select All devices

Select the Oregon 7 Series and follow the prompts to pair it


You have now successfully paired with the Garmin Connect App.
