Download Garmin BaseCamp for Mac
1. Download the Mac version of BaseCamp from this website page -

Requirements:
Intel based Mac running OS 10.13 or higher. Users on older OS's should use BaseCamp 4.7.0 available from this link - https://tinyurl.com/yms47nyd
1024 MB RAM (2048 MB recommended)
2. Give Basecamp Software Full Disk Access on your Mac
- Once you have installed the software, before opening it, please goto the top left menu’s on your Mac and select the Apple Icon, then select System Settings, then Select Privacy & Security – then select Full Disk Access
- If Garmin BaseCamp is not showing in the list of Full Disk Access Applications, select the + icon at the bottom of the list (You will be prompted to enter your Mac password) then select Applications and select Basecamp software to add to the list, make sure it is turned on with the blue tab to the right
3. Garmin Express Software , disable the Always keep running & automatically open settings.
For Garmin Basecamp to see your connected GPS Device and maps, if you have installed Garmin Express Software that is used for performing firmware & map updates to your GPS Device it needs to be fully closed down, please make sure you have disabled the Automatic running & open Settings.
- From your applications open up Garmin Express Software, then once Garmin Express is opened goto the Garmin Express Menu bar along the top of your Mac and Select Settings.
- In General Settings make sure the Always keep Garmin Express running & automatically open boxes are un-ticked and then close Garmin Express down.
- Now restart your Mac
