Problem getting Garmin GPSMAP 66sr to be recognised by a PC Print

If your PC is taking a long time to detect your Garmin GPSMAP 66sr a little work around.

1. Fire up PC/Laptop

2. Switch off 66sr

3. Plug in 66sr to PC USB port using supplied cable allow 66sr to initiate and wait till USB logo appears on 66sr screen.

4. Make sure all PC files and programmes have been closed down properly

5. Click on Restart icon. (Do not click on Shut Down icon).

6. Allow PC to fully restart and the 66 should be connected.

7. All this takes less than a minute.
