With a recent update for Garmin Montana 700 series users, you can now update 'regions' rather than all the maps.

Log into the online resource > Courses > Garmin - units > Montana 700/ 700i and 750i > Module 1 - Unit 3 (PC users) and Unit 4 (Mac users)
