By default, your ZOLEO device will check for new satellite messages every 12 minutes. The ZOLEO device provides more options for how often the ZOLEO device checks for messages over satellite. Note: The message check interval does not affect the speed that messages are received over cellular data or Wi-Fi.
The ZOLEO app provides the following options:
- Manual
- 12 minutes
- 24 minutes
- 60 minutes
- Always on
Choosing 'Always On' deplete your battery at a faster rate. Choose the manual mode to opt for the longest battery life. This means your ZOLEO device will only check the satellite network when you initiate a message check.
Follow these steps to adjust the message check interval:
1. Power on the ZOLEO device.
2. Open the ZOLEO app.
3. Tap on Settings.
4. Tap on My Linked ZOLEO Device.
5. Tap on Device Settings.
6. Tap on Message check interval.
7. Select your desired check-in interval.
8. Tap on the Save button.
