If you want to put your GPS in your pocket or accidentally keep touching the screen on your Garmin GPS why not lock the screen.
Garmin Montana 6** Series:
1. Tap the power button on the side of your unit.
2. At the bottom of the screen just tap on the little locked padlock icon.
To unlock the screen repeat the process and tap the unlocked padlock icon at the bottom of the screen
Garmin Montana 7** Series:
1. Tap the power button on the side of your unit.
2. Tap on the black un-locked padlock icon.
3. A White Padlock icon appears at the bottom ribbon on your screen to show locked.
To unlock the screen simply tap the power button once
Oregon 7** Series:
1. Tap the power button on the side of your unit.
2. At the bottom of the screen just tap on the little locked padlock icon.
To unlock the screen repeat the process and tap the unlocked padlock icon at the bottom of the screen
eTrex Touch 25 / 35 Series:
1. Tap the power button on the side of your unit.
2. At the bottom of the screen just tap on the little locked padlock icon.
To unlock the screen repeat the process and tap the unlocked padlock icon at the bottom of the screen
