To register your Garmin device, please follow the appropriate steps for your device type.

Automotive, Fitness, Outdoor, and Sports devices:

Download and run Garmin Express

1. Open Garmin Express
   
   
2. Connect your Garmin to the computer using the appropriate USB Cable
   Cable Examples:
   
   
3. Click Add a Device once your Garmin is recognized by the computer
   
   
   
   
4. Click Add Device once your device is found by Garmin Express
   
   
   
   
5. Login or create an account, and click Next
   
   
   
   
6. Enter a Nickname if you wish
   
   
   
   7. Your Garmin is now registered
