The Oregon 700 series can be paired with a compatible smartphones. Pairing the device to a compatible smartphone enables Bluetooth connected features such as activity uploads, Connect IQ downloads, LiveTrack, software updates, smart notifications, and weather. To pair an Oregon 700 series device with the Garmin Connect Mobile app, please follow the steps below:
Make sure you first have Garmin Connect App installed on a compatible phone and open when you are pairing your phone.
Before attempting to pair:
- Check your mobile device compatibility here
- Download the Garmin Connect App
- Place your mobile device within 10ft (3m) of the Oregon
- Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device (Refer to the device manual for details)
- On the Oregon, press the Power key or swipe up on the main menu to access the app drawer
- Select Setup
- Select Bluetooth and the Oregon will be ready to pair
- On your mobile device, open the Garmin Connect app
- Access the menu:
- Android: Select (upper left corner)
Apple: Select More (bottom right)
- Select Garmin Devices
- Select Add Device
- Select Browse all compatible devices
- Select All devices
- Select the Oregon 7 Series and follow the prompts to pair it
You have now successfully paired with the Garmin Connect Mobile app.
